Jeongeup City Office Woman's Handball Team

The team had been worked to be established since early this year. Tae-Gu Gang, the head coach, and nine players have won 2006 Doha Asian Games. Korea has been won five consecutive times in the competition. The team has been started by September, 19, 2008.
The establishment of Jeongeup City Office Team is the first time as 'ball games' in Jeollabuk-do so it will help to advance handball of Jeollabuk-do as well as sports of Jeollabuk-do.
The team had been set up since May 20th, the establishment celebration, and worked for the 5th Taebaeksangi National Complex Handball Competition which has held on July 25th in Taebaek, Gangwon-do.
On May 20th, 2008, Jeongeup City Office Team has been established with former head coach of Korea in 2006 Doha Asian Games and nine players for the first time for ball sports in Jeollabuk-do in order to bring back old fame of Jeong-eup, a mecca of Korean handball and create value-added for activation of regional economy. On September 19th, Korean and foreign VIPs and people from handball industries have been invited for establishment celebration in National Sports Center in Joeongeup Sports Park.
