Farming music has different components of music, dance, play, and contents in each region so they are divided by Utdari Farming Music, Yeongdong Farming Music, Honam Farming Music, Yeongnam Farming Music. Among them, Honam Farming Music is the greatest which is divided by Right Land Farming Music of land in south east sea and Left Land Farming Music of mountain areas. Farming music, the most popular but modest music for Koreans, is a group performance with the biggest size in traditional cultural art. With the most basic musical instruments and tunes, it gives joyful feelings. It is Korea's unique traditional complex art.The origin of Jeongeup Farming Music has been recorded in a script that Jeungsan religion (Founder: Jeung-San Gang), an influenced group for 1894 Gabo Donghak Farmers' Revolution, had been interested in it. In 1920s, Bocheon Religion (Founder: Gyeong-Seok Cha. Daeheung-ri Ibam-myeon Jeongeup-si) had been appraised the music as one for the religion. And farming musicians have made a big performance to develop farming music.From the time, Honam Right Land Farming Music had been started to get frame.
