Naejangsan Temple (Yeongeun Temple Site, Local Monument No. 63) During the 37th year of King Muwang's reign in the Baekje Dynasty, the Great Founder Yeongeun established about 50 Daegaram in today's Budojeon region, naming it Yeongeunsa Temple.

Byeokryeonam Temple (Naejangsa Temple Site, Local Monument No. 73)
Byeokryeonam Temple

Byeokryeonam Temple is located 330m above ground level on Seoraebong Peak. It was built by the Great Master Hwanhae during the 20th year of King Uija's reign (660), and called Naejangsan Temple. The name was changed to Byeokryeonam Temple when the former Youngeunsa Temple was renamed Naejangsa Temple. Long before the change of the name, the calligrapher Chusa Kim Jung-hee trained at the temple and recommended changing the name from Baekryeonam to Byeokryeonam. He received a pledge and left it in his writing, but this was destroyed during the Korean War. There is a myth that says the Buddhist monk Heemook threw stones from the top of Seoraebong Peak, and Heecheon, his best pupil, caught the stones to build the embankment of Byeokryeonam.
